My tobacco is too dry, how can I rehydrate it ?
Dry tobacco can be gradually rehydrated. Here are a few solutions:
→ Lightly spray some water on your leaves and place them in an airtight container until they regain some elasticity.
→ Place a slightly damp sponge or a small piece of orange peel in the airtight container for a few hours.
→ Use a tobacco humidifier (not available for purchase).
→ Never rehydrate too quickly, as this could affect the flavor and promote mold growth.
→ Think of the tobacco leaves as sponges... Even very dry, with a little water or humidity, they quickly return to their original state.

How can I prevent my tobacco from molding ?
Mold is mainly caused by excessive moisture. To avoid it:
→ Store your tobacco in a dry and well-ventilated place.
→ Avoid airtight containers if your tobacco is still too moist. Let it air out until the excess moisture evaporates.
→ Make sure your tobacco is fully dry before storing it for the long term.

Can I mix tobaccos of different varieties ?
Yes, of course! Mixing is even recommended to personalize your tobacco according to your preferences. You can combine different types of leaves to achieve a perfect balance between strength and smoothness.
The Virginia + Burley blend is the classic mix, ideal if you're unsure about which variety to choose.

How can I avoid having a flavor that's too strong or too mild ?
It's all about the proportions in your mix !
Too strong? Increase the proportion of blonde tobacco.
Too mild? Add some brown or oriental tobacco for more strength.
The ideal: take notes of your proportions when you find a mix you like, so you can recreate it exactly !

Details on the cutting thickness of machines:
0.8 mm → Standard cut used commercially, ideal for cigarettes.
1.1 mm ou 1.3 mm → Slightly thicker cut, suitable for pipes.
5 mm → Specifically for hookah (shisha).
